First off, it is a good idea to get an environment up and running.
You will need to upgrade to 7.6 before going anywhere, so that is
the first step.
Metastorm tell us that existing licenses will be valid for both our
version 7.6 and version 9. This gives us the opportunity to set up
appropriate version 9 environments. We recommend doing this as
soon as you can, as many of the future installation and
configuration problems can be resolved now rather than later. We
have found there are a number of potential issues, mainly due to
the changes that Metastorm have implemented in terms of
database authorisation. Basically you must be a user on the
system before you can log in and setup users on the system.
Obviously if the install does not work perfectly you need to
resolve things in other ways.
